Escape into your own private wilderness for a romantic, rugged, and intentional ceremony. All 160 acres of Highwood Retreat become yours alone for two magical nights. We specialize in crafting sacred moments, let us sweep you off your feet.

We love the sound of this! Where should we begin?

Send us an email (info@highwoodretreat.com) and we will start getting to know you and your vision. We believe a wedding doesn't need to be in a ballroom with hundreds of people to be sacred and elegant. We want to know your story and reflect that during your time with us. We will collaborate with you as much or as little as feels right to you.

What does a typical timeline look like?

This is entirely up to you! There are two beautiful nights to play with. We can have the ceremony the moment you arrive or wait for moonlight, sunrise, or anything in between. If you'd rather have us take the reigns and guide you through it, that is also our absolute pleasure.

Please consider that the camps are battery powered and cannot support garment steamers or hot hair tools.

How do we see available dates? How do payments work?

Email us with your preferred dates and we will do everything we can to make it work. A 50% deposit will secure your dates with a simple contract and the remaining balance is due 30 days before your arrival.

Can we bring a photographer?

Yes, of course! They will not be included in your guest count and are more than welcome. We will share a list of talented area photographers who we know and love.

Can we bring our dog?

Absolutely, yes. For overnight guests we will charge our regular pet fee of $60 per dog, maximum of two dogs per camp.

What else do we need to bring?

A Vermont Marriage License and a sense of romance and adventure!
